About the Presenter:
Mary Byers is the authors of two of ASAE’s bestsellers… Race for Relevance: Five Radical Changes for Associations and Road to Relevance: 5 Strategies for Competitive Associations. She’s a member of the National Speakers Association and travels nationally providing hands-on leadership programs and facilitating strategic planning sessions for associations. Mary currently co-leads ASAE’s Exceptional Boards Program and has worked with a wide variety of organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Dental Association, the National Association of Home Builders and the American Bar Association.
In addition to speaking and facilitating, Mary is the author of seven books, as well as Momentum, an online learning course which you will hear more about today. Mary has a degree in telecommunications from Indiana University and is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
